Look, yall know me, I’m not into super ultra displays of patriotism. I think that our country uses vetetans day and memorial day in a lot of really over the top, nationalist, kinda gross ways a lot of the time. While its nice to have a day to honor veterans, the hyperbolic fetishization of military service ends up more propaganda than tribute, especially given how shitty the support for veterans actually is.

BUT the fact that the Tangerine Fascist managed to fuck up something as easy as “go to this military cemetary and look solemn on camera for a few minutes” is fucking embarrassing on a national scale.

It was the 100th anniversary of the Armistice and that fucking deranged sweet potato sat in his fucking hotel room and watched TV and tweeted because of a light drizzle while other world leaders went to show their respects. It is humiliating for us as a country. Its disgraceful. It shows absolutely no awareness of the impact of WW1, or the importance of the armistice in Europe, or even any shame for being so fucking lazy and insulting to the world leaders he was supposed to be with.

How do you fuck up a simple Veterans Day photo op? How are you such a fucking baboon that you couldn’t even manage that simple fucking thing?!
