FAFSA Opens Today. Here’s What’s New on This Year’s Financial Aid Form

collegecoward:

As of October 1st, FAFSA is open!

Reminders:

  • U.S. citizens and eligible noncitizens should apply.
  • Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify for federal aid, apply anyway. Many colleges, states, and scholarship organizations require FAFSA to determine your non-federal aid eligibility.
  • Apply ASAP before aid runs out.
  • Filling out FAFSA does NOT commit you or your parents to any loans. Loan agreements are completely separate forms not found on FAFSA.
