Happy Coming Out Day!

Coming Out Day is awesome and an amazing opportunity to share identities/experiences with others, but I wanted to remind my LGBTQ+ pals to think of safety and comfort levels before coming out!

There can be a lot of pressure to come out on the 11th, and that isn’t to say that coming out is bad. Just keep in mind potential negative consequences, as no one wants a celebration to lead to an unsafe situation.

With that, know that Coming Out Day is also celebrating you coming out to yourself! Even if you aren’t out to others or don’t share with others today, you can still celebrate you discovering and accepting your own identity(s), bc that’s also a hard thing to do💕
