Because, let’s be real here: running this blog is a lot of effort. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it! I’ve enjoyed it for more than a year now, since I started posting about antisemitism and my follower count began to grow.

But between writing posts and replying to other users and dealing with antisemites and nazis it takes up a lot of time.

Starting in the fall I will be starting school, a 3 year degree in film and television at one of Israel’s top universities. And at that point, my time is going to be costing me money. Any amount of work that isn’t schoolwork will be money I am paying for school I’m not paying attention to.

Don’t get me wrong. I love doing this. I’m going to continue doing this as long as I can. But you know what would really help lengthen that period of time? If y’all decided to help me afford to do so.

A few months ago I set up a ko-fi. I don’t know if y’all know how ko-fi works, but it functions on a $3 donation basis. With the amount of followers that I have, if every single one of you donated just once, I would be able to afford my entire tuition for the year, and in addition be about a third of the way towards being able to afford a new computer, which I desperately need because my current one was bought in 2013, and it isn’t doing well.

So please. Each donation counts.
