so you know how Frankenstein is a perfect example of a book with an unreliable narrator–Victor is rescued by a sea captain in the frame narrative and proceeds to tell his own biased tale about what happened with his creation.  we don’t really know the “true story”, and the creature is certainly not there to give his own side of events so I guess you could say it’s a classic case of….history being written by the Victor
