observant pregnant jewish woman goes to r/legaladvice because her coworker tricked her into eating treyf, turns out said coworker was posting in the subreddit a week earlier trying to find ways to get her fired for “not fitting into company culture”
This is so horrifying and upsetting. I hope she is successful in bringing legal action against these people.
good news – she was!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve drawn the ire of a white woman for not assimilating enough into her idea of culture.
Edit: Oh boy, it gets better (and by better I mean worse).
the coworker even did the classic “she takes random days off and excuses it for her religion” (actual quote is “She takes off for random days citing religion but they’re different every time, and she doesn’t take off for ones that actually are days in her religion”
A commenter pointed out that the jewish holidays follow a different calendar and so dont fall on the same gregorian calendar days every year
