This map project (which is itself, admittedly, highly optimistic) is further proof that our changing climate is going to cause our entire global society to be reordered. 

The only way for us to guarantee that some level of equity and justice exists in our future is if we organize today to build an eco-socialist movement today. We must not only end further consumption of fossil fuels but also prepare our global economy and infrastructure for the cataclysmic changes that are assuredly coming at this point.
