You know… in the darkest timeline I was not expecting megacorps like Starbucks to suddenly lead the way with inclusive shit like this. It gives me mental whiplash but this is fucking awesome. I know that facial feminisation costs a fucking fortune, and I’ve spent thousands of dollars on hair removal myself, so I know $$$ can be a major road block to people achieving the appearance they want.

I hope this benefits a lot of people.

For all of y’all asking for a source (because I didn’t link to an article you could read or anything, this link is to the actual Starbucks website and I’ll highlight a pertinent quote:

Starbucks health insurance plans include not only gender reassignment surgery (which had been covered since 2012), but now also a host of procedures for transgender partners in the U.S. that were previously considered cosmetic, and therefore not covered, such as breast reduction or augmentation surgery, facial feminization, hair transplants and more.
