the Les Mis musical is , by me, like..the DEFINITION of “greater than the sum of its parts”

like  individual songs or performers may have their weaknesses, and if I hear them or like…read the lyrics , in isolation, those can stand out a lot!,  but the whole thing, together, forms this overwhelming unstoppable Wall of Emotions that just buries  me every single time 

and like, yes, of course, I do think it could be stronger for this or that change! depending on the version, and all– Just Because Something Works Doesn’t Mean It Can’t Be Improved, to quote a genius – but I am still in awe of just how solid  the show is as a unit.
