Well, the way I think of it and from what I’ve seen of clips, the movie is only alright as it treats emoticons such as 😛 🙂 and 😡 as old people, making me believe that smilers rule itself is based on a throne of lies. In addition, the Japanese were the ones to develop emojis as we know today and were only introduced to the world when the Unicode Consortium tried to standardize computer characters and they went to Japan and they were like “oh yeah b t dubs we have pics now” and then it was added to the world index and apple picked up on it.

So what I’m saying, is that if anything there should be an oligarchy if OG emojis that are still used like 50% of the time even though they’re only like 1% of the emoji population…

And that is how you insert social commentary and accurate history into a rewrite of one of the laziest and worst animated films of the decade.
